Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to ResultFolio accounts, organizations, share links, and uploaded content. It is part of the Terms of Service.

1. Permitted use

Use ResultFolio to document vehicle service work for your business, including customers, vehicles, jobs, Before/After evidence, acknowledgements, and customer-facing reports.

2. Permission to upload

You must have the right and any required consent or lawful basis to upload customer contact details, vehicle identifiers, photos, files, and signatures. Do not use the Service to collect or store information you are not allowed to process.

3. Prohibited use

You may not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes
  • Upload malware or content that infringes others’ intellectual property
  • Attempt to access another organization’s data, bypass authentication, or probe, scan, or test the Service for vulnerabilities without ResultFolio’s prior written authorization
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including excessive automated traffic that degrades availability
  • Resell or proxy the Service as your own product without a written agreement
  • Use share links to publish another person’s private information without authorization
  • Misrepresent signatures or reports as certified legal evidence or as a ResultFolio guarantee
  • Store highly sensitive data ResultFolio is not designed to hold, including full payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, authentication secrets, or protected health information
  • Upload, store, share, or request child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexually exploits minors. This is strictly prohibited
  • Use the Service to send spam or unlawful marketing

4. Share links and reports

You are responsible for who receives a share URL. Do not post share links in public places if the report contains information you are not willing to make visible to anyone with the link.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access when we reasonably believe this AUP or the Terms of Service have been violated, or when required by law. We may preserve data needed for security or legal obligations.
